On November 27, in the Chertkov mansion in Moscow, an exhibition of the renowned designer Philip Tracy “Hats of the XXI Century” started. The exposition, presented by 75 models and other objects, will run until January 25.

A telephone hat, an ashtray hat or a lobster hat … Fantastic headdresses from Tracy are impossible to confuse. They can be super-elegant, whimsical or utterly outrageous, but invariably recognizable.

The designer's corporate identity is read in non-standard abstract forms, avant-garde ideas, bold palette and lush trim with feathers, fur, lace. Less familiar materials are also in use: Philip masterfully works with metal and plastic, skillfully "weaving" these urban elements into the decor of hats.

Among the regular customers of Philip Treacy are a good half of the mighty of this world: Kate Middleton and Elizabeth II, Dita Von Teese and Daphne Guinness, Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria Beckham. In addition to them, Madonna and Lady Gaga regularly contact the designer with special orders, who then shine in these hat masterpieces at their concerts.
