It was breast cancer that caused the death of Jolie's mother, who died at the age of 56.
"The doctors determined that my risk of developing a malignant tumor of the breast is 87 percent, the ovary - 50 percent, - Jolie told The New York Times. - As soon as I found out, immediately decided to take action, so I did a double mastectomy."
Today, in an interview with the same publication, Jolie said that she would no longer be able to give birth to children, because she had now removed her ovaries. The 39-year-old actress explained that this operation was less complicated than the previous one, and Angie tries to take the incident as calmly as possible. "I went through what thousands of other women have experienced. I gave myself the intention to be strong, and also not to think that I could not live up to the time when my already grown children will give us grandchildren with Brad."
